Laura Rene Marks-Trueman & Director Alan Swyer Reunite for Billy Vera Film Premiere (2018)

Longtime friends Laura Rene Marks-Trueman (Mad Men, Gotham, Public Enemies, Men in Black) and director Alan Swyer (HBO Rebound, The Buddy Holly Story, Beisbol) caught up over lunch in 2018 during the premiere week for Swyer's Billy Vera film, From Harlem to Hollywood.

Their shared history in the film industry dates back years, with Trueman also having attended Swyer's El Boxeo film festival premiere in 2013.

Trueman has collaborated with major studios, such as Paramount, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, Columbia Pictures, New Line Cinema, TNT, AMC, and SONY Pictures. She is known for her notable work supplying prop guns for the Public Enemies Movie, working with Scott Getzinger on several projects, and various props for scenes in the Men in Black movies 1-3.
